Well ... Guess I'll rewatch it through the lens you offered us, the viewers, as a love story of friendship, rather than a search for the one. Thank you. But some episodes and seasons really were way too long. They didn't stop at their heyday, far from it. Friends somewhat sidestepped that land mine, but even then it was already in severe decay, but still enjoyable by the end, and MUCH less frustrating than say season 8 and 9 of HIMYM. Also, gave me hope on a personal level. Just because it's not working out now between you and the love of your life, doesn't mean it'll be broken forever. :-)
