  1. You can put a very small battery in each of the vehicles and only have overhead wires for charging at stops and some intersections. This works well in Israel and is very cost efficient.

  2. Do you seriously believe an EV bus takes 2 days to charge? If you have charging at the bus exchange where drivers eat their meal, thats usually enough charge for a half day. So they start the bus fully charged, use some electricity in the morning, recharge at the break, finish their shift.
