Whether you believe the system is valuable doesn't matter, because other people accept payment in Bitcoin. That means other people, especially on the internet, will be willing to trade your Btc for valuable items like goods and services. Anyway, it can't be stolen by lawyers or the government like the money in your bank account. That's valuable for a lot of men.
