  1. Everyone knows most of these people were bedouins (which is really kinda like gangsters, robbing settled people in towns was their thing). That's why it's kind of amazing that they turned themselves around and made societies with law and order, superb infrastructure, etc.

  3. It's called IMEEC, the India Middle East Europe Economic Corridor. It's an alternative to the Chinese belt and road initiative that goes to Iran. It seeks to put India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Israel, and Greece into an agreement to ship goods. It is ports in Oman/Saudi, then railroad to Israel, then shipping to Greece. After the economic agreement they're talking about a security arrangement. Iran is steaming over it. It keeps ships out of the straight of Hormuz where Iranian rockets can hit them. There's also no worry of Houthi rockets or pirates.

  4. ​​​ @Gotwired That's called open immigration and it's a lot better to employ those foreign workers than to leave them impoverished in their home countries. They work in Dubai a few years then come home and build their own home and business. They take this option BECAUSE IT BENEFITS THEM. This is a major anti-poverty program that massively benefits entire families of some of the people struggling the most in the world. Some people wanna feed their families man, you don't need to insult them and call them slaves.
