  1. This is more similar to a nomadic herder which existed long before the middle ages. Most people in Europe in medieval times were not nomads. They were typically poor grain eaters and more often diseased due to nutritional deficiencies than herders and hunters.

  2. Nomadic people were more common in central Asia than India in the last 3000 years. Prior to cities and plant agriculture, everyone was nomadic, first hunting and then later herding. The whole inner continent of North America consisted of nomadic bison hunters right until they were genocided in the late 1800s.

  4. You don't need to eat vegetables nor fruits. At least, the Sioux, Cree and many other tribes ate only bison and it took the United States military at least two decades to genocide them.
