These unions will also be responsible for Japan's downfall. They want to keep producing things that people don't want to buy, because they feel entitled to doing the same job the rest of their life.

I like that she's bragging about scale when they don't even have enough batteries to sell their shitty car
45
The Indian government doesn't want to learn from Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Chinese FTZ zones on how to develop. They figured out their own way: raise taxes on everything and do the exact opposite of free trade. Great understanding of economics 👍

A youth entrepreneur named Hayden Sonnad runs a service called Tesloop between LA and Vegas. The had to replace a battery at over 600,000 miles (this was also an earlier chemistry battery. I think it was at under 80% of its initial capacity, so Tesla gave them a new one free.

Cool how much energy does your wind turbine produce
17
90% of people would bike more, if they felt safe (which really requires a physical separate bike lane, not painted lines that cars weave through)
16
This will be great for people who do home solar. You charge and discharge your batteries every day so LFP helps with thousands more cycles.
16
Jack Dorsey is not the CEO of Twitter. The CEO is Parag Agrawal. Dorsey left the Twitter swamp to work in crypto.
13
The 99% will have to pay thousands more for cars to support a small group of people in Detroit.
12
It would be disgusting if we paid for a bailout to billionaires
12
All auto manufacturers will go under when FSD is released. Money in the transportation market will come to the AI companies that provide the "driver" as software as a service. SaaS margins are much larger than manufacturer margins, and manufacturers will get squeezed.
12
I would specifically seek out a phone with another open source OS that is not Android. Especially if it is built or capable to be modded for privacy.
11
You're smarter right
11
It will be an autonomous car soon. You'll definitely be alive to see it sir.
10
Sam's just reading stuff to us. But you'd think after he learned so much about solar already he would know this doesn't make sense.
10
Would you cover some of the best electric bikes / scooters on the market, since you cover all sorts of stuff like solar already?
10
I'm pretty sure the main people who gave him money were millionaires and billionaires. They don't vet their money properly, it's their fault. I knew who to invest in.
9
Autonomous cars will crush the new car sales market by the time most of these companies investments into electric are at the stage of mass production
9
I don't believe the story you told about two guys almost fighting because there weren't enough CHEVY BOLTS lol

EU countries have directly given the Russian state 100 billion for oil and gas so far this year, with a projected 300b by the end of the year. Oil and gas is 50%+ of Russian state income so the EU directly funds the war crimes in Ukraine. This is what the EU does while passing plans.
8
Well, he probably films a bunch of separate news items once a day, and then schedules them to upload at different times.
8
Never heard of unions liking progress. They like to keep the same jobs they have.
8
The people making those comments have never owned an EV and never investigated one.
8
@detraed8962 teslas are more expensive
7
They need a unicorn toilet and plumbing company
7
The title was a pretty accurate indicator of what was in the video, dude, so you can just not watch or switch to another video.
7
Dealers will be destroyed when FSD comes.
7
The only thing in common is that it is a building. That's why Tesla and these battery companies like LG Chem all make new manufacturing facilities.
7
Price of cars increases for American consumers because the domestic producers are subject to less price competition. Take from the many to help the connected few.
7
And it makes sense that EVs be sold in BC and Quebec, two jurisdictions with enough hydroelectric dams for 100% carbon free electricity, at very good rates.
7
Use tesla superchargers they're everywhere
7
@tangerinestorm All of those OEM's have been "working" on autonomous by buying worthless startups that have never produced any visible progress or rides with actual people, and then paying multi billion dollars for them because they are afraid they are too behind Tesla, Comma, and Mobileye. None of the OEM's know how to run a software company.
7
Luckily they even exist near you
7
If there were 15k EVs like in China, most of us would switch.
6
Imagine being critical of something on tv, that you haven't even sat in or used. He's the definition of a blowhard--he has opinions on everything.
6
No auto company stockpiles anything. All of them use Just In Time.
6
Eavor Loop has a complete closed loop system, look into them. But I have a question, why are you so concerned with a "toxic" chemical when there is no life around whatsoever? Who exactly is it being toxic to?
6
21kw is massive, how much was that
6
The electric seaplane in the thumbnail is from Harbour Air which serves Vancouver to Nanaimo and Nanaimo to Victoria in BC Canada.
6
Pretty easy to be reliable when you have an electric motor instead of an engine with a thousand moving parts, from a physics standpoint. How often do you have to work on the electric motor on your electric drill?
6
Climate related deaths have gone down 98% in the last century, mainly due to industrialization
6
They bought Cruise dude. Why waste your time writing a whole paragraph about Waymo when you could have looked up that they acquired Cruise for billions, a fact everyone knows?
6
They won't go to waste because they have thousands of dollars in recoverable materials
6
Only people who know zero about batteries think there will be a battery recycling problem. Batteries are full of thousands of dollars of recoverable metals, that are cheaper to recycle than to mine new. Companies don't like throwing away thousands of dollars of free money.
6
Would love to drive this up the west coast of Canada in the summers
6
There's some BYD electric busses in Victoria and I think there is a smaller run that runs from Victoria to Nanaimo. Montreal might have a few too.
6
I would just want a third phone OS on the market that isn't recording and selling all your data, no matter what the hardware specs

@X5493-c7p No, no, no. If fossil fuel gets cheaper, synthetic ammonia gets cheaper. Ammonia for nitrogen fertilizer is synthesized by the Haber process, and most of the plants run on fossil fuels. If electricity becomes cheaper to do the Haber process then we will get more ammonia for cheaper. The two things we need to have a massive food supply are cheaper sustainable way to do the Haber process, and cheap low energy desalination plants.

it works. all the consumers pay more and one politically connected corporation doesnt have to worry about competition
