  12. All auto manufacturers will go under when FSD is released. Money in the transportation market will come to the AI companies that provide the "driver" as software as a service. SaaS margins are much larger than manufacturer margins, and manufacturers will get squeezed.

  45. Only people who know zero about batteries think there will be a battery recycling problem. Batteries are full of thousands of dollars of recoverable metals, that are cheaper to recycle than to mine new. Companies don't like throwing away thousands of dollars of free money.

Ammonia for nitrogen fertilizer is synthesized by the Haber process, and most of the plants run on fossil fuels. If electricity becomes cheaper to do the Haber process then we will get more ammonia for cheaper. The two things we need to have a massive food supply are cheaper sustainable way to do the Haber process, and cheap low energy desalination plants.
