What a bad deal with the 12 year solar panels lmao. I dunno what kinda company likes to lower their bottom line and buy shit. Do you question things people say to you by trying to integrate logic and facts you know? Just how do you think its possible that local buildings dont get electricity from the panels if theyre connected to the grid? Lol
2
Nope, different real estate locations and environment regs
2
Ive heard about this vapourware since 2018
2
He is talking about carbon dioxide, not particulate matter.
2
They probably need a nuclear plant on the biggest island. They also have a lot of volcanic heat to combine with steam operations (electricity through geothermal).
2
There's no such thing as a neighborhood battery shop
2
The reason I'm getting this thing is because I can go off-roading without smashing and scratching it up on trees.
2
Because Tesla will earn 60%+ margins as a software as a service company operating a robotaxi network within 2-3 years, whereas BYD doesn't have the best AI team in the world working on that problem.
2
They have zero plan or anything developed for autonomous. The smartest thing Tesla did was hire 200 of the top AI/ML researchers in the world.
2
It is all dependent on when the robotaxi network is released. At that point, most families will sell their second car, so the used and new car markets will plunge in value.

@340wbymag The radioactive uranium already exists in nature. We gather it up from a mine and take it to a power plant. When it is "spent" it is actually less radioactive than when it was out in nature. Fukushima wasn't a nuclear disaster, it was a natural disaster. A tsunami killed over 10,000 people. Zero people died from a 1960s power plant that survived a massive earthquake and a tidal wave hitting it.
2
@GermanGuy007 You're acting like the power plant "creates" nuclear waste. Radioactive material goes in and then spent, less radioactive material gets sent out. Powering 10,000 homes for a year will result in an aspirin sized capsule of spent uranium (which can be recycled multiple times in French, Canadian, and Chinese reactors). Note that there is uranium and lithium in ocean water naturally
2
How'd you pay 6k for a mountain bike, dude? If you actually like electric motors you'd probably put a hub kit on a bike and build it for 1k.
2
I wouldn't order them if they were the price of an iPhone though. Tbh I'd only want the OS anyway.
2
@pastorharman6920 That's good. The jobs come at the expense of 99% of consumers paying more money. Now consumers will have money to spend in fields where Americans produce the superior product. Most people actually make less money than these unionized auto workers, they don't need to pay them a subsidy by being forced to buy their overpriced cars. There are $10,000 crossover size Chinese EV's. Let the American consumer save $35k and they'll invest that into education, health care, housing, etc. Jobs can be made there.
2
This thing will make it to your cabin on crown land :D better get some solar
2
There will never be L4. There is drivers assistance where you are responsible for watching, and then there is full self driving.
2
I don't understand what "trucks can't be electric for decades means" and why you're commenting this on a video about a Toyota van. Both Mercedes and Ford have electric vans.
2
I would buy this ASAP in North America. don't even really care about the range, we have plenty of free level 2 community chargers
2
Fossil fuels kill ONE BILLION people per year!
2
It's easier to build industrial megafacilities in much of Mexico compared to the US. You will have a whole bunch of unemployed JDs in America who got went to bottom 90% law school and then couldn't get work so went into "non-profit" environmental work. Which means continually challenging claims to start breaking ground on megaprojects for years until investors have to back out
2
There are only ICE trucks. If someone wants a truck, they have to use ICE.
2
Why would Tesla sell their cars to Uber for 30k when they could make 50k per year with them
2
Xinjiangs great when you can avoid the re-education camps
2
I actually still prefer bicycles and many European cities are moving toward more bike and walkability instead of auto mobile use. It makes cities better, safer, and more active.
2
There is no such thing as start ups in those countries. They get bought or copied by a big firm.
2
When you say solar generator, do you mean one of those portable battery systems which include inverters and solar management systems? Which company did you buy from?
2
As soon as the Tesla Robotaxi network comes out, the food delivery apps will be destroyed. We will get delivery for free (probably paid for us on the restaurant side, and Tesla's costs will be a couple cents per mile). Restaurants will drop your package into the frunk. It might stop at a second restaurant and unlock the back trunk, en route to your house, to double up routes and save even more costs. It will arrive at your house, honk, and unlock the frunk for you to grab your food. There are reasons why regulators will prioritize allowing passengerless delivery cars before taxis. Every passengerless ride means less humans on the road, less risk of a human injury.
2
You will have to get used to it when your eyesight and reaction time is too poor to drive
2
When FSD comes, any car whether EV or ICE will dramatically lose value unless it is possible to put third party software on for self-driving (like OpenPilot). I'm keeping my old ICE car til FSD comes, because there's no sense buying a new vehicle to use 2-3 years.
2
They park themselves
2
Do you realize that 75% of your post was one run-on sentence?
2
I think their Cruise purchase was their side play
2
Parking lots should be made into residential housing when autonomous cars come, not be pavement with solar canopies. Hopefully only France does that so only French people have jacked up urban real estate prices, whereas everywhere else will experience a redevelopment of urban land for housing and green areas.
2
Biden and Trudeau put 105% taxes on cheap Chinese EVa
2
You have to, they're one of Bidens biggest donors. It's called democracy in america
2
When the robotaxi network comes out and people can make money from their car, Tesla will up the price dramatically. So you will save thousands as a thank you for investing early into the AI.
2
Tesla has made autonomous cars the flagship of the Master Plan 2 for the last several years. No other auto company has an AI team of hundreds of the top AI and ML researchers in the world, not even Waymo. Tesla won't be selling their cars to the public in the future because they will re-arrange transportation to be subscription and trip based.
2
Most of the gas is used by big trucks, taxis, ride share, delivery vans and other vehicles that drive all day. We will see a huge drop in the cost of oil when Tesla releases the robo taxi network in a large country like the US. I'm looking forward to Tesla bankrupting Russia.
2
@scottmcshannon6821 Most banks are not aware of the coming robotaxi network. Gas stations will get punished when it comes, especially gas stations built on expensive urban real estate.
2
You just compare deaths from modern nuclear power plants compared to deaths installing and maintaining wind and solar.
2
You will be allowed to drive both regular motors and motors with fake software added to jerk the car around for no reason
2
Tesla is much better on the battery warranty. 80% capacity is enough to replace it and they guarantee a million miles. Which is important, because it will be driving all day on the robotaxi network.
2
Electric cars don't "make blackouts worse" if you understand how a grid works.
2
Buying Tesla stock is about the robotaxi play, which puts them in the Software as a Service category which generates unreal margins
2
Doesn't matter man, people will be using FSD on a subscription basis.
2
@rhiantaylor3446 We also have an "electric alternative" that in the short term, completely eliminates emphysema and other effects of smoking judged on a short-medium term basis in studies. Called e-cigarettes. In all likelihood, they probably reduce lung cancer by 95% but we need more long term studies.
2
@greghelton4668 autonomous driving will be $3.00, not $15k
2
They don't have engines bro. The batteries and the motors are not made by Hyundai. The market is not the same anymore because the physical parts are different.
2
4 billion people are in energy poverty. 1 billion people are living on a dollar a day and have the benefit of almost zero electricity. Nobody is gonna go near magma. It is too hard to drill near it haha. They're going to the levels of superheated rock.
