  4.  @Vscustomprinting  The people in the Singapore Health Study eat about 90% plants and 10% meats. And that is determined by questionaire once a year, not controlled food intake. Interestingly, in the years studied, there is a huge confounding variable that the richer people could afford both more meat and more refined, imported products. Meat is associated with wealth in Asia. Anyway, these people were eating 90% plants and this says nothing about how a high meat diet would improve insulin sensitivity or many other indicators. Also, all you did was link to some poor epidemiology, you didn't say anything to defend your claim that protein and fat raise IGF-1 more than plant based carbohydrate. Hyperinsulinemia is the cause of type II diabetes, and that comes from eating carbohydrate all day 4x a day for 60 years.
