This will take us years and it is 48 billion dollars, the largest infrastructure project in Canadian history. No reason to route it to Alaska since that would be even further.

  2. The only place that even allows upgrading oil refineries these days is in Mexico on the Gulf. Oil refineries can't get off the ground in Canada because a bunch of American environmental NGOs will keep it in legal limbo before construction for years, and then investors will pull out. This is actually how it works for most industrial projects out here.

It might be possible they have active operations in Syria and could fly people who sign up to Syria first, then to Ukraine. But in the end, what Taliban fighter, who fought for the Taliban and now has his government installed, is gonna throw his life away for free? Anyone can see how Wagner troops have been treated, so they know there's no chance of coming back. It would have to be a person with a death sentence asking for an immediate payment up front or on arrival to Syria to his family. That's just so highly unlikely I don't think they're going to generate many Muslims. Especially when Imams in Muslim countries like Uzbekistan have declared fighting in that war is immoral.
