This is horrible behavior. I see this all the time when it comes to scams. People just find it funny that someone stupid was tricked because they are so eager to prove their own mental superiority and how "I would never fall for something THIS stupid haha, that’s what you get for being STUPID!", without realizing that this just encourages scammers. Sure you could revel in your own brilliance for not possibly falling for this, but if you continue to accept this type of behavior as a "stupid tax", eventually the scams will become good enough to also hit you or someone you care about. I mean just look at the overwhelming amount of people here PROUD that they "have no empathy for the stupid". Ok? Do you also have no sympathy for the people that are in a wheelchair due to something they’re entirely responsible for themselves and therefore it's fine to break in their house and steal their stuff because they can’t fight you? It’s shortsighted behavior just because you want to show everyone how smart you are in this very moment without realizing that this only indulges scammers.

Yes, yes you can feel bad. No one should ever get their money stolen no matter how much of a simpleton. Scamming on stupid people is not better in any way, that’s like sying it’s fine to steal groceries from seniors with canes because they can’t run after you

At this point it should be obvious that asmon likes anything to "play the system", be it looting during covid, fleeing the authorities as the helmsman of the costa concordia who is mainly responsible for the crash that killed dozens of people, or scamming naive people and enriching scammers that will just continue doing this to more innocents. But "Hell yeah dude fight the power and shieet"

@RyuuHou22 BUT THATS HOW SCAMS WORK?!! Obviously they’re not going to target someone smart. You can’t just "blame" the ones most susceptible to a crime onto themselves, that’s no different from saying someone who walks with a cane, due to something they did themselves, can just be robbed because they put themselves into that situation, ridiculous. It’s victim blaming, no matter how much you want to prove how much smarter you are, this is not what should be encouraged, yet it is by this behavior that just handwaves every shady practice as long as they can portray their victims as "morons". THEN ITS OKAY HAHA TAKE THAT STUPID PEOPLE GET YOUR MONEY STOLEN TAKE IT TAKE ALL THEIR MONEY!!!
