Don’t change or write stories around such superficial reasons, it just distracts from the actual essence of the story, identity politics do not constitute a story. You know, Lord of the Rings just has 3 female characters and the Hobbit literally 0, yet most of the Tolkien nerds I have met have been women, and the female characters aren’t even their favorite (it's almost always Aragorn lol)

George Soros and the likes just think for whatever reason they must put their money into pushing this but this is not actually creating value by itself, they’re just subsidizing it. Even with all the money in the world this is not a long term business strategy, don’t worry, eventually logical market mechanism will prevail and the products that make more money through more sales will end up being more successful instead.

Dragon Ball has a ton of black and hispanic fans, they do not give a single damn that Goku is Japanese, they just enjoy the story and characters themselves and not any less by what skin color they have or what race they are. If you watch everything through the lense of "I can’t enjoy this if it has people in it that don’t look like me" then you’re never going to enjoy anything. It’s literally reverse sexism/racism to simplify everything down to these superficial characteristics that you claim make you enjoy a piece of media less. No, you’ve just been manipulated into believing you can’t sympathize with a character when they don’t look like you
