The contribution of Nehru and Rao as the first PM who set the democracy and the PM who drive the liberalisation of India respectively, is immense and we should be grateful to them for der work. Congress and especially Sonia Gandhi has taken a really terrible step by not allowing his body inside congress headquarters. I suspect this is done on the suggestion of someone like Digvijay Singh on the false notion of Muslims getting angry.

  20. Pakistan or Bangladesh will be better than India because they mostly eat meat. Indians are mostly vegetarian or eat more veg foods than non veg. Veg foods might be great for health but it is low in nutrients and costly. Also if you want to get sufficient nutrients from veg food then you have to spend more. Nonveg foods are cheaper and can provide more nutrients for less money. Many State governments are not even providing Eggs to children, which are high in protein and cost less.

  26. I agree with you mostly. But I don't think quota or reservation has caused any issue in India. If u r talking about reservation and not about the quota before 1991. I personally didn't take OBC reservation and I am against the obc and EWS reservation. But it has not caused anything wrong with Indian GDP growth. I am for 1k best colleges and universities, so that people don't need any reservation. But again Modi ji has brought that EWS reservation as we were going out of this reservation and people were not taking jaat and Maratha reservation seriously. Then congress tool this forward. But still I think bad policies, favouring few industrial are the main reason. And the most important thing is no fresh idea in economic sector by the current Central government. Indian state governments are also like that.

  32. Shekhar ji, But Kashmir issue or any issue in India is nothing like the Palestine - Israel issue. Israel has captured the land. India has not captured anything. It was British India and King of J&K have given it to India. Also in 1947-48, Main leader of Kashmir, Shekh Abdullah was with India and he supported the merger of Kashmir with India. So India has both legal and popular political support for merger of Kashmir with India. But in Palestine, Israel captured land since beginning and even if we consider that existence issue of Jews people whatever Israel is doing after 6 days war, is nothing but barbaric act and colonial mindset. Simply put, Israel has captured Palestine based on some 2 thousand years old claims.

  34. Indian common people have shown that they are mature citizens of a democratic country. They have seen things which they don't expect from any leader and they have just shown the "Lakshman Rekha". This was done by the people of one of the kost backward regions of India and the poor, illiterate has done this. I believe that the democracy, free will, citizen rights,etc are more important for poor than well to do middle class. I have not seen any poor saying "500 rs ka petrol lenge, par Modi ko vote denge". This is at best a "foolish statement".

However, if we cannot have influence in our neighborhood, we will not be even a regional power. How can RAW not help Shekh Haseena, prior to the start of these protests? The USA was making things hard for Shekh Haseena and from that we can be sure that the CIA with ISI was behind this. It is an utter failure of RAW. And the Indian government, by putting all its eggs in one basket, didn't have any alternate game to play. Don't know what our Foreign ministry and RAW were doing.
