You made a great point, the reason why natural stone is expensive Becuase naturally it is very slow for rocks to form. A lot of the strongest minerals that earth has is metamorphic rock which takes around 200 years to form new rock.

@vylbird8014 you just contradicted yourself, you said it's not time, yet workers are paid for working in a certain amount of time, so the issue is time, construction today wants to use the fastest way to build structures, so the modern idea of concrete is reliable and used.

@lunawense6288 if I'm correct, the average crust of earth is like 20 km or 43 miles. But I don't think people or the technology we have is going to mine this deep.
