  3. I'm sure we would all appreciate women not wearing this crap so much, because then women wouldn't have to deal with men looking at their attention grabbing garb, and men wouldn't have to deal with women getting mad at them for having their attention caught by attention grabbing garb.

  4. ​ @gilberttorres8 Not just a capitalist country, if value isn't being exchanged, everyone needs to make and do everything themselves, which won't happen because people don't want to do that, and it's pretty inefficient compared to specialization. Money needs to flow in a socialist country too. It would be nice if people stopped attributing literally every problem to capitalism because that's all they know. Logic can be more complex and less fallacious than "things suck now, capitalism current thing, so capitalism sucks, it capitalism fault"

  5. The beautiful thing about capitalism is that you can just choose to not buy. It's not like you have some quota of things to buy for the common good. You're free as can be in a free market. Sadly, we don't exactly have a free market here, and the government takes a lot of our money by force to spend on crap we don't need either

  6. They can "get away with it" because people respond to it. I've asked many women why they insist on buying woman specific products like pants if they want better pockets, or razors etc etc. And they insist that they just have to, I wouldn't understand. So, either these women are so gullible that they don't deserve to be voting, or they like the product better. No one is forcing women to buy gendered things

  8. This is the source of suffering that we experience from consumerism. Capitalism isn’t the enemy, it just gives the people what we collectively want. And we want junk for cheap, not more expensive hand made in America stuff
