  1. Marketing. Women like fancy stuff with frills, men like manly stuff. People respond to it, so of course marketerd are going to use it. My question is why so many people seem to be unable or unwilling to actually think through answering their questions by empathizing with otherd. At that point the question is just a pointless whine

  2. They can "get away with it" because people respond to it. I've asked many women why they insist on buying woman specific products like pants if they want better pockets, or razors etc etc. And they insist that they just have to, I wouldn't understand. So, either these women are so gullible that they don't deserve to be voting, or they like the product better. No one is forcing women to buy gendered things
