@kvabskalle Because it's that or nothing. The US has all the leverage here. If zelensky doesn't capitulate, he's left with whatever help Europe can muster, which isn't enough. The war is ending, it's just a matter of negotiation at this point. If he won't participate, that's his prerogative

Lefties are pissed that we aren't getting WW3 over Ukraine losing some land. Yes, it's fucked that the US encouraged Ukraine to canoodle with NATO when we should've told them to stay neutral and not provoke a fight. But it's not worth starting WW3 over, sorry. An eye for an eye makes the world blind, and trump is getting this crap nipped in the bud
