  1. 8:33 Uhh no they’re specifically asymmetric to cause twisting. Thus in the upstroke they twist to let air through and on the down stroke they lock together and stop the air

  2. 13:00 The study they’re referring to is DOI: 10.1007/s00227-003-1099-3 I thought the units didn’t make sense, and it turns out, they are reporting the unit wrong. It’s nV per cm, which is an electric field strength and thus makes sense
