@jonathanberry1111 As a physicist, this is absolutely possible if governments wanted to do it. The main trouble is precision pointing, but they've already had to figure that out for surveillance. Beyond that, if it's intense enough to set off the bomb, it would likely have significant interaction with the matter in the way, and it could be stopped with concrete and lead.
