All you need to see that is look at how Charlie Kirk and Steven Crowder are met on campus vs leftist protests. Night and day difference

2:05 I think it’s more of a vicious cycle, where children aren’t seeing healthy role modeling from stable parents, so they don’t know how to act, so they have to go through a bunch of bad relationships before they have a chance at figuring it out for themselves, and that’s assuming they even try, instead of just doing hookup culture or as most guys, never even getting a chance in the first place until later in life

Because most people don't want to do the hard work of figuring out morality themselves, so most people just defer to a group or authority. Because of this, as an atheist, I'm often thinking we need some Jesus. At least when people believe, regardless of whether it's true or not, they act better

One of the reasons is that college has become a place of indoctrination by gatekeepers. Men are more willing to vote with their feet, while gender studies masterd degree holders move to LA and whine about how they can't afford to live

And that’s because…? That’s a very important part OP. Men have dwindling reason to actually try, and women are indoctrinated by feminism that they must prove themselves to be better than men. But then they get upset when they can’t find a man that’s better than them lol

Men are outperforming women, because men are seeing the writing on the wall for college and are less beholden to popular trends. College is not nearly as big of a winning move amymore, and so many of those women are getting useless degrees that they will not be able to pay for, and then they'll expect men to clean of the mess from their bad decisions, that we specifically told them not to make, and were called bigoted for saying so. Just like we should've done with the banks in 2008, let them experience consequences. Otherwise nothing will get better

10:49 That's what you would think. But part of the reason guys are dropping out is that women have become so impossible, one of the big reasons they'd go to college is gone. Even the 2-1 ratio just means chad gets more easy access to more women, not that it's easy for regular joe schmoe

It's because they deep down know that men go where there's actual work to be done, and the money follows that. They know that colleges have become useful indoctrination centers and that the "uneducated" tend to not agree with them and are out of their grasp. Universities used to be purely a place of education for scholars, but it's become a place of partying and nonsense unrelated to a useful field, that is a huge expense. Men are bigger risk takers, so we're more willing to abandon a failed enterprise

These myths about father irrelevance have way less scientific backing than redpill stuff like hypergamy. People tend to believe what makes them feel good about themselves or their choices
1
@dylanstuckey3824 Well, a lot of why people have become atheist is that hypocrisy. Religion is very clearly ideological

Turns out, the experienced ones got that experience somehow

This was the influence of Gramsci on Marxism and critical theory. That the proles need to be demoralized, so that they can more easily be agitated into a socialist revolution. The whole point is that you’re supposed to get upset about the way things are. So many marriages have been destroyed by exactly what OP is talking about, that the woman gets whipped up into a frenzy about how awful men are, even though the man didn’t do anything to precipitate this. Content people don’t make good revolutionaries

Well there’s also the progressive notion that the left is this ever moving goalpost, never attainable. That the left is correct, and the more left we go, the better. So people who indeed have never experienced anything like the oppression of the past will just move the goalposts on what counts as oppression. It used to be that being treated as property was oppression, but now having fewer people that look like you in a certain field, or someone looking at you weird is oppression. The marxists need there to be oppression to justify their desire for a socialist revolution
