  2. I mean, Trump specifically told the EU that they need to not just rely on the US and pay their fair share into NATO. Maybe, just maybe, countries should have the capacity to defend themselves, discouraging attack in the first place. Maybe, just maybe, it's not the American taxpayer's job to foot the bill for world policing. Not to mention, it was knowing that the USA would come to save the day that got us into the Ukraine mess we have now, because NATO courted Ukraine even though Russia was promised Ukraine would be kept out. Our military is for the national defense

  4. No, because police are locally funded and employed. Also, we provoked this war by going back on our promise to not expand NATO further towards Russia. So it's a bit more like funding a terrorist group and then going to war against that group. Oh wait, that's our MO! Manufactured consent is what feeds the military industrial complex

  5. It's more that the budget in the USA is crazy out of control, as is inflation and cost of living. We can no longer ignore it, and there will never be a "good time" to do something about it. It's like a child always saying five more minutes before bedtime
