8:05 It's because the way Fault Divorce used to be done was no divorce allowed unless there was a fault. And the religious guys you showed want that also. However, instead of women understanding the issue men are having and siding with us reasonable guys who just want fault to be considered in divorce, so that their voice will actually contribute in the solution, they're so concerned with maintaining their privilege that they're just going to be stubborn. So either marriage is going to continue dying off, or we're getting some form of fault divorce back, as there is zero benefit to men to get married now, aside from a bit of a tax break which would be nullified if divorce happened.

And we still think that if there's abuse or cheating and similar that you should be able to to divorce. You just have to have a reason that's better than boredom. No reasonable person is trying to ban divorce, we just want accountability, because divorce causes significant harm to society when it's this common and frivolous.
