Title: "german bankruptcy didn't create the nazis" Video: german bankruptcy created the nazis but with extra steps What you talked about with unstable economic practices is known as the poverty mindset, being forced to struggle make it harder to have restraint when things are better. When poor people make it out of poverty, they often spend on things that feel good and show status substantially more than other people, instead of making sure to save up an emergency fund and prepare for retirement. So, the bankruptcy did lead to it, because the whole country was spending like a poor person who just found out about credit cards and payday loans. Go watch caleb hammer to see what I mean

@akiraraiku Something not understood by Americans is that the "right" and "left" of Europe, especially a hundred years ago was very different than what we think it is. Almost every German party had some socialist bent to it, the main difference with the Nazis was being socialist and putting Germany first. Now whenever people talk about putting their own citizens first, they liken it to the Nazis, and forget about the socialist part, and all of the social rot that led up to the overcorrection.
