4:43 No comprise means no peace, unless you have the overwhelming advantage to crush the opposition, which they do not. But hey, he's not the one who's out there getting shot at
28
People call anyone successful a genius, the word's lost any meaning
23
@MaxiPCX Ah yes, all the people who famously never criticized trump. Short memory on you I guess. You do actually have a point about Elon though. However, he's a good exception because he actually wants to and has incentive to do what the people need and want. The problem is when you have conflict of interest with the people, not when you have the same interest
20
@SURUPTICTVI mean the dems can't go five seconds without shit talking him or people voting for him... so the bar may be low, but they aren't clearing it
17
It's not for you! Same thing they say about their crappy movies
12
It's also self evidently true. If you didn't need singles events, that means women want you, and you wouldn't go to them. This goes for the gender swap too, don't expect to go there as a man and find good options.
11
7:40 Actually a really good point. Why would we give a damn about the feelings of people who hate us and want us to suffer? We just want cheap gas, no wars, small government. We don't even want them to suffer, just for people doing harmful things to face consequences
8
14:30 Billionaires are probably the most privileged, but the reason they wouldn't feel this way is that they feel that they earned their privilege. It's not an innate or immutable characteristic, they were not born that way. So they don't have a reason to feel guilty. White women in the US however are born with incredible privilege until they hit the wall, and even then still are more privileged than most in the world. They've been indoctrinated into this worldview of oppression hierarchy, and that it's OK or normal to hate those more privileged, and so they can't bear to even let themselves think that they're the most privileged, and will die on that hill. That's how important not being privileged is to them
6
9:30 I don't think it's most people. Most people are either disillusioned or disgusted that something so dumb and vulgar was famous overnight. It says vastly more about us than about her
6
Even if that figure is accurate. How much money does it cost to buy a plane ticket? Heck, send them over in groups to the same country in C-47s if you have to
5
Hey I remember that game! Man that's a throwback. I liked the physics a lot better than in angry birds
5
@jamesandrews8698 Yes, Candace is actually pretty kooky. So probably for the best that she's keeping her distance from the rest of the right
5
2:00 You didn't get at the most important bit. Legacy = centralized, in this case. Centralized entities are much easier to control. This was ok in the past, because the government was smaller, weaker, and journalists actually had some level of integrity. But now they'll just hire whomever will do the job. If you leave in protest, there's endless people in line to take your place and do the shilling
4
@WrathofFenrir99 And when that separation happened, it's almost always going to be because they were confused by these progs. Telling them they need to do all this instead of affirming how they were born. Everyone, especially around puberty, has some confusion about who they are as they mature. The difference is whether they're told it's normal and will pass vs being told they must be trapped in the wrong body or something. A kid would not come up with that idea on their own
4
1:15 Do you not realize that you cannot match and message without her saying she's interested? If she's getting messages like that from those sorta of guys... Why is she swiping right on them?
3
It's literally the same level of thought as people who think if you just let the government take care of everything we can have utopia, free everything
3
7:35 You wanna know why it's mostlt critical of women? Because almost no one holds women accountable when they make bad decisions or are bad people
3
Well, watching this and then seeing what the headlines are is the part where you learn that you don't hate the media enough
2
Plus the whole paradigm of programming has been adding more and more layers of abstraction, cool new frameworks, etc, instead of focusing on just getting the job done efficiently. How many times have programmers heard from management "we're going to try this cool new thing I saw on the internet" without even asking them if it would help
2
17:00 Trump was a democrat too until he realized what they're about. And they won't even mention tulsi or robert that they drove to the other side. So many chances to have a good democrat party, but they don't even want that
2
DOGE was not a surprise at all, they campaigned on it
2
But if we stopped talking about race... how would people race grift???
2
13:25 Uhhh making debt easier to pay off is precisely one of the reasons politicians have let inflation go on so much. It's why they dropped the gold standard
2
1:35 is when
2
Just because they haven't personally impacted your life obviously, they have economic impact that can affect you
2
For Biden it was...
1
OK, well trump isn't running again, it's just wrong about that. The man is aging, and surely doesn't want to endure the constant assault from the press and public until he dies. He's losing money and doing a public service, plus there would be seriously legal challenge, and he has to understand that letting younger blood take over is the smart winning move
1
0:26 does this mean we're going to get a blue Jan 6 so the dems will shut tf up about it?
1
Aaaaand this is how Goodhart's law works. People always forget that people will always game the system
1
It's not just the ratings drop for MSNPC, it's that comcast saw it's not serving the purpose that they bought it for
1
11:17 You do have a point. What he's appealing to is stuff like the Dobbs leak, where it was happening either way, but the goal was clearly to intimidate the justices into changing their minds out of fear of retaliation. that was not ok. But Snowden? He should be pardoned. He woke us up to the surveillance apparatus turned inwards on us, that we otherwise wiuld be blind to.
1
Still only a fraction of the losses they should be facing for telling everyone that they should accept not owning things, and require online services for single player games
1
This is why we are not crying for the federal workers who are finding out what it's like for the rest of us
1
@dominikm.1869 Yeah, just like ads on TV. When he says something just once, like the Charlotte riot fiasco, most people don't get it. Because we apparently need to have things beaten into our heads?
1
1:25 No, because flip flopping on it would've lost them a lot of moderates. I tjink what seriously lost this for them was the endless misandry and messing with people's kids. There's a lot of issues, but I think the kids were a tipping point
1
If you credibly say you would never use nukes, then you may as well not even have them. The whole point is people believing that it could credibly happen, so they don't try to start shit
1
Literally the reason we do animal testing is because there's overlaps in response lol
1
7:50 Who wants to have a rebel working for them?
1
Just remember, they think you're weird for having a family
1
It's also horrible role modeling
1
6:36 security. They believe that giving their rights away will make them safe. Apparently they need to learn the hard way again A whole century of death and oppression wasn't enough for people to get the picture apparently
1
We love people lying for clout and then getting factchecked
1
3:50 Literally 1984. Literally the main thing Orwell was warning about was this kind of anti thought psychosis
1
Literally the job the reporter is supposed to be doing
1
So many people are still in denial that the government is mismanaged there. This kind of shit is why having a permit for literally everything will destroy you. The bureaucracy needs to go...
1
11:25 Unless you're a progressive, as shown by the graph that's been circulating around since the election
1
2:45 Far right *at that time and place*. Almost every party at the time was socialist, including them. That is nothing like what right means here
1
3:40 selection can happen with culture too. A big example of that is that our obsession with not being accidentally racist, and government rewarding of single mothers selects for bad destructive culture among black Americans. They were literally culturally better than whites until the 1970s, and since that change happened so fast, there is hope that their subculture can change for the better with similar speed, if the selective pressures change 4:10 the analogy here would be not being forced to earn their way, and being told that no matter what they do, they'll always be less than. So why try? They're told this crap by people in school and their parents as kids, man. Given the worst psychological RNG
1
Obesity legitimately makes it hard to diagnose other problems because it is a comorbidity for almost everything. That's why doctors push to lose the weight first. If you get better, your problem is already fixed, and you'll be healthier either way. If that doesn't fix it, it makes figuring out what it is and doing something about it easier
1
No it's to make the term lame and gay
