  1. A maximally free economy optimizes efficiency. The problem with economists is that efficiency is their end goal. Our end goal is affordable living. The cheapest thing to do is to have people with low cost of living do as much of the labor as possible and sell in places with high cost of living. But that means an effective transfer of wealth from high cost of living to low cost of living places, and hard times for people in the high cost of living places
