@tomyamartino at this point we may as well say "Kremlin talking point" is a talking point of dems lol
65
It's the same thing they say to us. "Why do you care so much, it's really not a big deal", yet they scream and wail when they don't get their way. Clearly it matters a lot to them. For us it's really not a central issue, it's literally just restoring basic common sense. Certainly it's nice that we have common sense again, but its something most of us are frustrated with even having to spend a moment of our time thinking about, like bringing work back to the US

The argument has always been that sex education reduces pregnancy rates. And the thing is, it does *among the population who are already having sex*, but what it does do is increase the prevalence of sex in minors
7
I don't even live there and I agree. Immigration is not a right. If you don't like a place, maybe don't go there lol
7
God it is so nice to have an actually competent press secretary again. It was fun and all laughing at her, but running this country shouldn't be farcical
5
Anyone who legitimately thinks trump or MAGA people want Canada to be part of the USA are crazy or out of touch. And that's the point, trolling precisely those people, and getting Canada to show some national pride instead of talking smack about american national pride
5
It made sense when it was about preventing damage to children's minds, but that ship has long sailed. At this point, they just don't like platforms where speech can't be controlled by them
3
She did say right at the beginning that she would have to get back to them with an answer... Lol. She is clearly far more competent, but no one knows everything or is perfect, her included
3
I don’t think it’s right to dance in someone’s grave, but how was she still there? Who was voting to keep her there? Why?
2
Wow, a politician actually reacting promptly to a rising issue in the community
2
17:45 The massive immigration is also driving inflation and suppressing wages.... Bernie sanders literally used to be for restricting immigration for this exact reason
2
@upotheke the 16th amendment is a pretty new thing in the country's history, and the income tax was sold as a temporary measure to the people who voted on it, and it was only supposed to be a small tax on just the rich. So it's perfectly reasonable to say it's bullshit. People who derisively say "worship the constitution" like that are almost always gun control or anti electoral college folks. Both things have been present for the vast majority of the country's history, and exist for very good reason that you just don't understand or care about

@MaryHanifin To troll crazy people

4:35 if the insurance to live somewhere is too high because of environmental hazards like fire and flood, that is a cue to move somewhere safer. Living somewhere risky has a higher cost associated with the risk. We do need reforms in insurance, but what we really need here is assistance for individuals to move so they aren't trapped by being unable to sell their risky property. Most of the country isn't getting burned down or flooded every year or few. We do need to help people, absolutely, but we don't want to incentivize bad decision-making
2
You know, we could all move past this if we stopped being a surveillance state. The founding fathers are rolling in their graves...

It is understood. Do you not comprehend the concept of knock on effects? People like Michael Moore complain about jobs getting exported to countries with lower standard of living. What this does is cause a net drain on our standard of living and grow theirs over time. If goods are cheap because they're lade overseas, increasing the cost of buying overseas puts a dent in this wealth transfer, and strongly encourages local employment, as it removes the singular benefit of outsourcing jobs. Yes, it means an increase in cost of imported goods, but it means more local jobs and higher local wages. If done properly, that more than offsets the higher cost of using high standard of living american labor instead of borderline slavery in other countries. So, it ends up being a question of whether you prioritize americans being helped, or developing countries being helped at our expense? I don't want to hear you whining about a shit job market if you say the latter

3:45 But it was trump that decided to leave, Biden just screwed it up
1
I mean if it's not a holiday, you expect everyone to magically get the day off work? Maybe in super rural areas it's different and you have a chance in hell at voting quickly before or after work
1
I know legal immigrants and naturalized citizens who are freaking out about he's going to deport them and voting against him for it. The prop is very effective man
1
People feel bad for the people who came here illegally, who have already set up a life etc, after all it’s not their fault that they were allowed through. But we cannot support this many people who came so fast. People complain about high housing costs, low wages, difficulty finding a job, this is part of those problems.
1
It’s times like this that the woke will suddenly care about freedom of speech, when it doesn’t even apply here. That right means the government can’t silence citizens in general, but in this case, government workers are employees of the government. So they can absolutely be restricted in this way
1
2:40 Uh huh, tell that to Biden checking the time while waiting for fallen men to pass by
1
But wait, since when does LSD kill anyone? And heroin kills lots of people! Really the whole list is fucked up
1
Remember how often biden came out to address us directly? Yeah, they wanted to minimize how much people were aware of his mental decline
1
Raising minimum wage doesn't actually fix shit, it's classical politician crap to talk about how great something is that sounds nice but doesn't actually help. What really helps is slowing down inflation, lowering fuel costs, limiting immigration, lowering taxes, and reforming housing law so that cost of living is decreased and you get to keep more of what you earn
1
Leftists seem to somehow think that only undesirable car drivers pay for fuel, not realizing that every single thing that they buy required fuel to be brought to them
1
OMG, you mean states that want to have woke education can do that, and states that don’t can do something else? Oh wow, the only reason someone could hate that is that they need everyone to do things the way that they don’t want
1
This is like congress interviewing someone implying that every single member of congress interviewed the person. Give me a break
1
His response was literally perfect
1
I work in a research lab. People are losing their gdmn minds over this
1
Alien is the term, because an immigrant is a citizen who came from another country. These are not citizens
1
It’s a crime for anyone to do that. Everyone knows this, and how you can trigger sprinklers and cause a lot of damage. Regardless of any politics
1
Wouldn’t want to let the guy who wants to “take away rights” win
1
2:50 well circumcision is still pretty common, almost exclusively in the USA, so will that practice finally be stopped as well?
1
0:24 that’s a nice way of saying have your cake and eat it too
1
Come on man don’t give them any ideas…
1
If people want to support that stuff, they can donate their own money. Remember, taxes are taken by force, not free consent, so you had better use them on things pretty much everyone can agree are *necessary*. "Nice" things can be done as charity or volunteering. But the commies hate that because what they really want is control that is justified by these things, not to actually do these things for their own sake
1
1:25 the trouble is, many people want special treatment when they can get it, and this is their foot in the door
