  1. The dimension change due to bulk modulus is a touch more complex than you’re doing here. You need to consider formulas that apply to pipes, like hoop stress, to get it right. Bulk modulus used simply as you did just applies to change in density or volume when pressure changes, when that pressure is applied uniformly, and we don’t have just a solid block of carbon fiber here

  2. Doppler cooling is a thing, it is possible to use intense light to cool things, but it is used for cooling rarefied gases, not practical at all for this use
