It's not about proving them wrong... it's about realizing that refusal to acknowledge the problems in our system (which he doesn't explicitly state, probably because people have many different ideas) just drives people off to communism. The biggest problem we've got is cronyism. That is, the government is so vast and powerful that big corpos and rich people can buy favor from the government that secures their position, including compulsory spending and raising barrier to entry which reduces competition. The dummies that fall for marxism and afvocate for a bigger government don't understand that a big government is exactly how the rich avoid competition, and competition and freedom is what we are lacking
