Well it it a vicious cycle. People don't form bonds because we can't trust each other. So many people get their lives ruined because some asshole decided to be selfish. Whether it be a neighbor, or a spouse, a parent or a child. A friend or a coworker. We live in selfish litigious times, and no one wants to be made a fool by trusting someone

0:18 Man, right off the bat showing how little most people think about these things. You know why there's pressure to have kids? Because if you don't, all this nice society stuff that we have will collapse and go away. You are literally saying you are too good for having kids, let the poor working people have the kids to keep this thing going. Or you want society to collapse. Or you haven't thought about this for more than the five seconds required to realize that if people don't have kids, there's consequences. Not to mention, being a genetic dead end. But I guess that doesn't matter much to people anymore

11:20 I mean... 20% is still enough to easily be a huge problem

It's the same issue as with baby pets. People think that it's just too mean to punish something so little and cute, and think they can just start training when it gets annoying. No, watch a mother cat or dog and they will punish the second they start having bad behavior, so there's no confusion about what's acceptable

@Prod-MellowDrama almost half of marriages end in divorce, mostly ended by the woman. Unless you think a third of men are abusing their wives... Then consider that gay male couples have the lowest domestic violence and abuse rate, and lesbian couples have the highest by far, with hetero couples somewhere in the middle. How high does the percentage of getting your life destroyed have to be before you don't want to take the risk? That is the crux of the issue. Y'all don't see it as men having their lives destroyed, it's not a big deal, because you aren't living through it, and if you're a woman, you're extremely unlikely to have to live through it. Also, consider whether you think someone would really say they are leaving because they're bored or it just got difficult. The vast majority of people would never openly admit to being such scum. If you think marriage is some kind of joke, just don't get married. It's actually really easy
