Right, it’s truly mind boggling, you don’t have to be a genius to understand the problem, it’s actually obvious and yet so many seemingly smart people don’t get it at all. I don’t expect them to offer a solution or a metaphisical viewpoint, it’s ok not to have it, but its kind of creepy even that they just don’t understand what the problem is.

@adnanleo3096 if we duplicate you and then remove the original you, your copy will not replace your subjective experience, it will be your perfect clone but not you. I know it makes no sense from the physical point of view and the existence of subjective experience is absurd under the materialism paradigm. But it's one thing to not understand how it can be, and it's something else to ignore it. To me it speaks to the reality being stranger than we humans can understand.
