  1. Well I'd say Merscheimer was spot on Anders. He did say invasion could happen if Ukraine began to attack the resistance in the Donbass. Now we know. 1. Ukraine had amasses 80k troops on the border to Donbass. 2. According to the OSCE Ukraine had intensified their shelling a 1000 fold. That is a classic preparation for an invasion. Russia used article 51 of the UN charter to prevent a massacre as grounds for invasion. (As the west has done previously) . Occupying Ukraine would e a disaster with the resistance, that's why they are only interested in the Russian speaking oblasts. Go through Anders' headlines the last 2 years... see how many turned out correct.
