Comments by "James Campion" (@Jimbo2193) on "Escalation management and Biden’s strategy for Ukraine" video.
He is seen as a western friendly figure in Russia, which all his speeches and actions indicated in his first years. Then it became painfully clear the west were hell bent on NATO expansion to its borders. There are many madmen in the Kremlin who would dearly take his place.

there wouldn't have been a war but for the Americans.

My god where have you people been....that IS the primary objective of the USA is bring Russia to it's knees. They have said it time and time again. Ukraine is a means to an end and the USA don't give a rats arse about the poor Ukrainians dying in the hundreds of thousands.

Not sure if the sun is shining in Anders' world but Russia is advancing in almost all sectors of the front. Meticulously and methodically. "So there is a growing optimism among those who support Ukraine. " That explains the panic and escalatory measures from the NATO countries drawing us ever closer to Nuclear war. "I think that if there are too many stories in the media that say that Ukraine is winning" Please send me one link Anders. "the Biden administration is mostly concerned about escalation management" Of course Anders, that's why he okayed the Ukrainians to use their weapons on Russia proper. Russia have every right to arm every resistance group in ME and Africa to with the latest missile technology to go after any US/French and UK bases with thier blessings and the west cannot complain one bit. That was the first 3 minutes.... couldn't stomach the remainder of his reality detached theories and Russia phobic propaganda.

@Llortnerof what it just happened then?? After losing 30 million from the last western Europe invader I fully understand Russia's reaction, not that I agree. They simply see NATO in Ukraine as an existential threat, will not and can not lose this war. Thank you lucky stars that they are and will win otherwise I've no doubt they will go nuclear if their land is threatened. NATO might be bigger but 3 points. Turkey has declared it will not be part of any war with Russia(2nd biggest NATO army) . Hungary and Slovenia will not support a war. And finally the EU vote saw a landslide of rightwing parties dead against the war effort. This Ukraine war is the demise of NATO.

@falsum2701 Turkey is not on the Russian border and last time I looked Poland borders Belarus. I suppose those Russians are just a little over sensitive over western powers obsession of invading their land, Napolean, Hitler and now maybe NATO. Russians have lost more in the last war than any nation in history. Don't deny the fact that is been a goal for several hundred years (Crimian war) to get hold of the resources by undermining and splitting up the country. Anders is not delusional just a tool to generate support for a US instigated war that is costing Ukrainians 100's of thousands lives. But all worth it if we can weaken Russia. Despite what you hear this war can and hopefully be the downfall of NATO. Turkey refusing to be involved in any war effort against Russia, Hungary and now Slovenia against more weaponry. Yet they are as solid as ever.

@gae_wead_dad_6914 Countries join through a decision of the elites(USA lapdogs), can't recall any referendums. But I appreciate the fears some may have of the old soviet block and won't security. Russia is not the USSR. Now Ukraine is another matter. You all seem to forget that they last democratic government was overthrown by the USA in 2014. 51% voted for the Russian friendly president prior to this yet a 100K got to overthrow it. Eastern Ukraine is either ethnic or Russian speaking, they didn't recognize the USA installed Poroschenko government. 1. Ukraine has always been a red line. Russia will not allow NATO on its border. 2. Whether you agree or not Russia sees this NATO expansion as an existential threat. When you lose 30m plus men from the most recent invasion from the west I can understand Russia's insecurity. 3. According to Stoltenberg himself, Russia was pleading for security talks months up to the invasion which would involve a neutral Ukraine. He boasted about rejecting any discussion on the subject. Obama wisely said it was a bad idea to start any conflict in Ukraine as the Russians have the a greater ability to escalate. He was right and EU are paying the price.
