  1. I disagree totally that there are no grounds for negotiations. Stoltenberg, Lloyd Austin and those of Anders' ilk see Putin's peace offer as demands. They are just as extreme as Zelenski's but a least there is a starting point. ALL negotiations start at each end of the spectrum and parties work towards the middle. It is the west that are scared or refuse to negotiate, Russia's security pact before the invasion, then the Instanbull peace agreement initialled by both parties but the west sabotaged. And now Russia has offered to negotiate but the west refuse to entertain the idea. Kennedy famously said. Don't negotiate because of fear... but never fear to negotiate. Problem for Ukraine and the west is that Russia is more likely to meet its goals through war than Ukraine is at removing Russia from the Donbas and we can forget about Crimea
