  32. Absolute gold Anders.😂 Here is the opinion of every other independent expert not on the NATO payroll. Ukraine's incursion into Russia has only hastened the demise of Ukraine. They have pumped up to 20-30K of their best troops and equipment to take over a forested area devoid of any military presence or significance and taken a hundred border guards prisoner. They have now met the Russian army and stopped, trapped and are sitting ducks to Russia's Massive firepower and glidebombs. According to a Ukraine analysist they are losing hardware at twice the rate here than any other area, can't imagine the lose of lives. Russia main goals and fronts in the east has not been compromised by moving troops. The progress Russians are achieving in Donetsk is astounding and the vital towns and support hubs falling like dominoes is massive. Again another PR stunt for western support at the cost of Ukrainian soldiers lives.

Eastern Ukraine, Donbass and Crimea would not recognize the USA puppet Poreschenko as their leader and proclaimed their autonomy. Ukraine sent an army down to quell the uprising leading to 14K plus dead in the region. In the meantime Russia annexed Crimea ( not a shot fired) and then held a referendum to join Russia. Remember Crimea was part of Russia up until 1957. They would be insane to give their only warm water port. Luhansk and Donetsk pleaded to Putin for 6 years to let them join Russian which he denied while he was trying to get the Minsk accord implemented (sound like the actions of an imperialist???). Ukraine is used to actually wage a war on the EU and Russia as they were getting too close and the USA see this as a threat. Our media and politicians pushing for escalation need to convince people like yourself that Ukraine has a chance of winning this war where as they are being slaughtered for geopolitical games. According to the Ukranian first defence minister in an AP article. Supplies are helping and have reduced the Russian artillery fire ascendancy from 7-1 down to 5-1. Yep I'm sure those drones will change the dynamics of this western driven conflict.

Ukraine had amasses 80k troops on the border to Donbass. 2. According to the OSCE Ukraine had intensified their shelling a 1000 fold. That is a classic preparation for an invasion. Russia used article 51 of the UN charter to prevent a massacre as grounds for invasion. (As the west has done previously) . Occupying Ukraine would e a disaster with the resistance, that's why they are only interested in the Russian speaking oblasts. You all do realize that Russia is at the moment only activated 10% of its military force, taking ground periodically after obliterating UKraine forces with a weeks shelling, costing untold Ukrainian lives.   51. A couple of corrections Anders. 1. Mearsheimer, Sachs, McGregor, col. Hayes, and many other independent experts have said it will be a war of attrition years ago, one of which Ukraine cannot sustain or win even with Nato's backing. Correct again! Anders and the western media are about 2 years behind. 2. the only journalists allowed to the front line are those bought and paid. They have executed/killed several journalists, last one a US citizen died in their prison. An American journalist named Lancaster has been reporting from the Russian side since 2014, reporting on the attrocities in Donekst city and also how hard the Russian and separatists have it. Russians readily admit how good and brave the Ukrainians are. 3. It isn't evenly poised, Russia is moving forward methodically as it always has and in doing so not unecessarily sacrificing lives. 4. USA who started this mess is now backing out and leaving the bill for us to pay. So Ukraine won't last a year and barely this winter. So Anders Russia doesn't have to hold out for years.

These missiles require western technology, data, and personel to fire them.   66. Destroying oil refineries does not effect Russian exports which is mostly oil. It does mean Russian has less fuel to export which has in effect driven up prices on the world market, not just refined fuel but also oil. Russian war chest keeps filling up.

  67.  @pogo1140  no it was a strategic, controlled withdrawal. Kherson required too many troops to required other places and Kharkov had too few troops to defend. Those 2 areas were evacuated. Russians are winning all along the Eastern front line, key city of Bahkmut is fallen. According to a US mercenary Troy Offenbecke fighting in Bahkmut, life expectancy for the UAF is 4 hours! They are being slaughtered and we can thank the NATO/MIC and the US for this catastrophe.

  70. I see Russia's biggest mistake as going in with only 150K men against a NATO trained and equipped Ukrainian army of 800K. I don't understand the relentless argument that Russia are depleted both equipment and personnel. 300K previously trained men are on their way into Ukraine. Quite the opposite as its Europe who has depleted their supplies on Ukraine hence the emergency meetings and talks about cooperation in replenishing stocks. Remember Europe hasn't the energy to go into massive production of weapons but Russia has. They have both raw materials and unlimited energy. Many western pundits agree that Ukraine have suffered massive losses for the few gains in Kherson and the offensive in the virtually vacated Kharkov offensive. All points to a massive offensive operation by Russia in Nov/December when the ground hardens. Unfortunately Ukraine will have a winter without water, electricity and heating causing an even greater exodus of people. Despite your rosy forecast I think Ukraine is in for a hell of a winter.   72. I don't think you could call the Kharkiv offensive an invasion force. There are only14K soldiers involved and Anders claims it's stalled and a huge embarrassment for Putin. Russia have done here what they have done since the start of the war....attrition with taking of land secondary as it will come eventually. If you see the video of the pocket of Vochansky the Ukrainians are desperately hanging onto, the area is being completely fire bombed yet the Ukrainians keep sending in more and more troops. No bridges left for any real Ukrainian offensive. But Anders spins this as a Russian defeat and embarrassment. Also the use of western weapons to strike inside Russia is a very dangerous escalation as we've been doing since the start and I think Russia will answer it. I do trust Anders will be in the frontline when all hell breaks out between NATO and Russia.

The simple answer is YES Anders, that is why after 3 mobilizations they are still dragging people off the streets, demanding EU countries send the refugees home and Zelenski is continuously trying to involve NATO by lying about so called Russian attacks on NATO soil. Yes Ukraine are obliterating the Russians. However the Ukrainian defence minister in an article in Die Welt said they desperately need 200K before Christmas just to hold the lines and 20K a month after that!!! Now we know Ukraine started with just under a million soldiers, army, reservists and nation guard. Russians started with 190K and raised 300k since but haven't announced new conscription. We do know that Ukraine are forcing prisoners and kidnapping from the streets. Apart from all this we do know that Russia is slow, it FABs the bejesus out of a town then goes in. If there is enough resistance they retreat before a new round of FABs and termobaric bombing. Ukraine don't have these weapons. So it begs the question of who is wining this war of attrition??? just asking.

  88. I was wondering how you were going to put a positive spin on the offensive disaster, you sure exceeded my expectations. Since the offensive began 4 months ago in which the goal was to reach the Azov sea in a month or so they have yet to break through the first major Russian defence, the vegan line. They have breached the line with some infantry ( and 1 armoured vehicle that was destroyed) but any reinforcements are picked off by Russian artillery. Russia have lured Ukrainians into a cauldron when they have been fighting from lowlands for 4 months and taking massive losses. I don't see Russian citizens being dragged off the street to be sent off to the front. I don't see women being conscripted in Russia for the war effort. Effective from 1st oct in Ukraine. I don't see Russia asking neighboring states to send the men that deserted to avoid conscription back home. 300k Russians have voluntarily signed up since the summer....no Putin doesn't need a round of mobilization. But according to Anders it's the Russians suffering lack of men and moral. Western papers are reporting first hand from Ukrainian soldiers about the massive losses they have taken in the south. The are growing signs of war fatigue in USA and Europe. The support will dry up and USA will soon look for an off ramp and go on to the next big cash cow for the MIC... China and Taiwan. But until then we need mouthpieces like Anders to paint a rosie picture to keep our support for this bloody war, which will leave Ukraine in ruins and EU holding the bag as far as supporting a fallen state. This whole tragedy could have been avoided in March last year but it wasn't Russia fault but Ukraine with their hand forced by NATO/USA to continue fighting. The peace agreement now released, brokered by Israel/Turkey was signed by Ukraine which would have allowed Ukraine to maintain all their territories (except Crimea), by agreeing to neutral status, limited military, Russian culture/language permitted and a security guarantee by USA, England, Germany, France and Russia. Ukraine SIGNED the deal and then again reneged on it before the ink dried. Part of the deal was for Russia to pull back from Kiev which they did (in a not so elegant way). Like the Minsk accord that was never seriously considered by Berlin/France and the west Putin has come to realize that the west / Ukraine cannot be trusted in any agreement and have long ago decided to decimate Ukraine. Anders is a mouthpiece for the western NATO/MIC and nothing else.   154. During the last week I saw. 1. a tactical retreat by Russians who foresaw the offensive choosing to save lives. According to both sides the costs to the Ukrainian army were massive. 2. More ground taken in the Donekst being the Russians main and most difficult offensive. 3. Kherson offensive has stopped and the main bridgehead on the eastern side of the river has just been isolated due to the bombing of a huge dam and the pontoon bridges being washed away. Expect the thousands of Ukrainian troops stranded to be on the end of a massacre. I find it incredibly amusing how you Anders manage to continuously put a positive spin on this war. Ukraine (and Europe) are going to enjoy a winter without water, power or communications. Something Russia could have done at the start but now I feel the gloves are coming off. To me you are nothing but a cog in the western's propaganda machine which would put the Russian one to shame.

Ukraine are running out of willing fighters who are being slaughtered by the massive artillery advantage Russia has. Russia will take the Donbass and most likely Odessa and the west can't do squat about it. The Kharkov offensive was a success however Russia had already withdrawn the forces and a few residual defence units remained. In the first couple of weeks they lost 20% of the supplied NATO Equipment, however western analysists claim they only lost 10% more in the last 3-4 weeks! That's 30% and they have very little to show for it. They haven't even made it to the first Russian defence lines. Russia are on the offensive in Karkiv and making progress. MacGregor predicted this and said all along Russia was betting on negotiations by threatening full blown invasion. If they intended to invade and occupy they would have went in with more than 20% of their forces. Now they realize there is no point in negotiations so have geared up for a massive counter offensive. Ukraine has just envoked national conscription because they are running out of men. The west can't supply the artillery or weapons. Very sad but this Ukrainian offensive was their last hurrah. They are finished and the West's plan to destroy Russia economically, millitarily and polically has absolutely fallen flat. And Ukraine used as a battering ram has payed the ultimate price.

From the time Poreschenko come to power (handpicked by Nuland) Kiev started to attack the Donbass when they refused to recognize the US puppet government. Ukraine have a divisions stuck in Kherson region unable to get out other than by road close to the River which resulted in a brigade being wiped out. 2. Russia is about to surround and take Bakmut which will have a cascading effect all along the Donbass front. 5. Russian has 300K well equipped troops awaiting for the ground to freeze. Ukraine has no electricity, heating, water or communication most of the time and they are talking about evacuating the cities. 6. Europe is falling apart with regards to support for Ukraine. 7. Documented war crimes by Ukraine forces (see Kherson city) and the massacre of surrendered unarmed Russian troops, is all taking its toll with the world opinion. So no.... it's not the time for peace talks because Putin has tried that for 8 years and now the gloves are off. They will crush Ukraine in the coming months and we can thank war mongers like yourself Anders and western media spreading misinformation with regards to Ukraine having a chance of winning this war.

Both of these essential cities to Donekst/Lughansk defence are technically surrounded and being saturated by Russian artillery (6:1 outgunned) 4. The fact that Russians haven't stormed anyware is testimony to what Col. McGregor and Scott Ritter claim that Russia with their artillery superiority are fighter a war of attrition. Bombing the bejesus out of the Ukraines then move slowly forward when safer to do so. It is ludicrous and beyond comprehension to imply the Ukrainians have the luxury of carrying out a war of attrition infering more Russians are dying than Ukrainians. With the slow movement of the front line and artillery superiority of 6:1 there can be only one outcome. The kviv indendent was gloating over 16,000+ Russian soldiers have died since the start of the war, we know most of the Ukrainian army which started with around 450K and 200K reservists have all but perished(over 100K KIA). 3 rounds of mobilization i Ukraine so far and they have resorted to kidnapping of men in cities around the country. Now with the Russia capacity to manufacture more artillery shells than the west can supply Ukraines I'd say time is on the Russians's side, fighting a more and more depleted Ukrainian military who are spending more shells a day that the west can supply in a month. So I think the Russians would be pretty happy with the way things are going. To say Russia has spent all it available resources on a winter offensive is simply wrong. The majority of the mobilized forces haven't entered Ukraine as yet. Not sure where you get your information from. Utter rubbish to claim Putin orders his generals for an all out offensive during winter to sure up political support, it hasn't started yet. The ground never froze enough for the 250K mobilized soldiers to begin and now the rain season will also cause a delay. Ukraine had amasses 80k troops on the border to Donbass. 2. According to the OSCE Ukraine had intensified their shelling a 1000 fold. That is a classic preparation for an invasion. Russia used article 51 of the UN charter to prevent a massacre as grounds for invasion. (As the west has done previously) . Denmark has promised and tried to create a 4K man strong battalion for the last 2 years, not even half way. Not to mention NATO is out of shells and can't meet the promised amounts to Ukraine. Remember Merkel, Hollande and Poreschenko all admitted that the signed Minsk accord was never meant to be implemented. It just bought time for Ukraine to build up its forces and arm them to the teeth by NATO to prepare for the up coming "unprovoked" war against Russia. According Col. McGregor and Stott Ritter their forces were close to 500K with 200k in reserve.
