  6. Actually. whatifalthist's Christianity is a lot like mine, so I guess we have to say that there are a lot of different kinds of Christians.

  7. I think the point is more that Japan would have 200+ additional years to take technology and methods from Europe rather than that Christianity would be so awesome. As other comments have pointed out, no other nonEuropean nation hugely benefited from adopting Christianity, but then no other nonWestern nation was able to industrialize or militarize as well as Japan either.
