@Daniel-yo5es What difference is a masters in history if you act exactly the same as the other guy operating at a 6th grade level though?
1
Anyways, ultimately, here's the problem with your problem. More Sanders supporters still voted for Clinton in 2016 than, say, Clinton supporters who supported Obama in 2008. There's actually a pile of data that indicates that Sanders supporters are not the problem that you are claiming, and whatever segment that Clinton crowd turned into is far more likely to go against the party. So... so much for that master's in history. I'll go ahead and state the obvious -- a master's in history isn't worth much.
1
@kurtsakslsvideosaks9185 Unfortunately, brains are in short supply. Even Masters of History are behaving like 6th graders.

@Daniel-yo5es Here are the sources for the numbers. 25% Clinton-McCain crossover https://sites.duke.edu/hillygus/files/2014/06/hendersonhillygustompsonPOQ.pdf (Page 9) 12% Sanders->Trump crossover https://twitter.com/b_schaffner/status/900123391155482624
1
@Daniel-yo5es So what is your basis for saying Sanders primary voters will be the problem?
1
@Daniel-yo5es I didn't say anything about my hatred of Clinton. Just that more Clinton supports turned to McCain than Sanders supporters turned to Trump, backed by polls. And I actually voted for Clinton. So your original point about Sanders primary voters being the problem... isn't really the problem.
1
@Daniel-yo5es Spoken like a true liberal arts major.
1
@Daniel-yo5es "Master's in history" lol. I can't imagine who that would possibly work against, other than maybe someone who had a bachelor's in history. Of course you then have to bend the knee to any PhD's in history.
1
@Daniel-yo5es I'll just tell them I have a Master's in History. Nobody will know the difference.

JohanMDK There was a light amount of facts, but not 8 minutes worth. She speaks more in generalities rather than, "x number of appearances", direct quotes, or verifiable events, etc. I'm just saying this is very shallow content.
1
JohanMDK Why do you think I'm being unfair or politically motivated? It's not that I disagree with their sentiment regarding McInnes and the Proud Boys, I just would prefer to have more actual data. It's the same standard I apply to any news source. So I don't know why you think I'm being unfair somehow.
1
JohanMDK Do you actually think this was really 8 minutes worth of information that was conveyed here?
1
JohanMDK Because I try to watch for content, not entertainment purposes. If I say, "Fox News didn't prop up the Proud Boys", what content out of this video would you pull out to rebut the assertion?
1
JohanMDK When you consume low-information density content without putting any thought into it, you turn into a low-information viewer. You're essentially doing the same thing that Fox News viewers do when they watch Fox. They just watch it for entertainment purposes. I would say the same thing about most Fox News segments (low information density), and a Fox News viewer would give the same style of defense that you did. On a scale of, say, David Pakman to Jimmy Dore, this content is more on the Jimmy Dore end of the spectrum. It's just shallow content. The show producers should do better. If you don't even understand the metric, then you're part of the problem.

Ugh you guys lost me with all this talk of dignity.

I wonder if this will literally turn into a "prisoner's dilemma".

It was kind of a lazy reference, mostly because I didn't link the time I was referring to. 5:25 They start wondering if anyone on the left ever throws shade on the Mueller investigation. You'd have picked up on it if you had actually watched the video I think.
1
Have they tried rebooting him? Maybe turn him upside down, shake him a little, maybe loosen him up with a mallet a few times.

Good lord the Pollyannas are all over the comments.

@OGimouse1 They are available. It's not an assumption. It's a fact.
1
@vulcan2882 I just checked one Lowes and one Home Depot in Houston. Between the two of them, filtered for "Free Pick Up Today", there were like 150 Window AC units of different makes physically available. That's not even including the free standing models. And again, Amazon has them and you can Prime units from there. Not only that, but I can almost guarantee that the Houston Costco will have many units physically available.
1
@gwhiz1397 Fuck, you people and your excuses. It's like you'd rather die clinging to your excuses than use your brains to find a way to survive. I believe they said they were getting financing for a $1600 repair on their main AC unit so I mean... they didn't have the money, but they kinda did. For those not in the know, most AC units around Texas are central, which draw a huge amount of power to fire up. If the AC is out, guess what it's not doing? It's not drawing power! My guess is they immediately had the money on hand just from not running the primary AC to at least purchase a window unit for 1 room and survive it out until the primary could be repaired.
1
No, you can’t blame Fox for this. The fissures in the family existed before Fox.
1
If Fox preys on those with minimal education, low self esteem, and "dormant racism"... uh... kind of want to say those are the real issues ruining families.
1
Kind of seems like a self-solving problem.

What are you buying when you buy an NFT?

He actually does. In fact that's one of his few strong points. He knows how to manipulate people.
