  2. Kind of seems like they just need the fastest feedback mechanism and some sort of PID control. There are some DIY projects out there for instance that are used for balancing brushless motors and props, using sensors to tell you exactly where the motor/prop is unbalanced.

  3. A couple decades ago I floated this idea to an aerospace friend. He had a fit about airspace control, blah blah blah. It's that group that will protest the most about stuff invading "their" airspace, as if it belongs to them and them alone.
