  1. I think there's kind of a basic underlying problem that is still going unaddressed. When people identify with "their race", what they're really doing is co-opting the accomplishments of other past individuals that just shared some smidge of genetic similarity with them. Like, "These other dudes did this thing a couple hundred years ago, and they were a tiny bit similar genetically to me, so that means I deserve extra special status." There's no good reason to do any of that. Lotta bad ones though...
