Level, in this context, is at right angles to the center of the Earth.

Acid will do that to you.
1
@TheRealSpencerMarks What you guys should have done is watch some FE debunking vids beforehand, such as by "Professor" Dave. It would have been patently obvious that you would not have the slightest impact on flat Earth morons. They are ineducable - you can't remove with evidence what was put there by faith. Did you not know this? If you did watch some vids beforehand, then I can't understand why you would want to submit to the unremitting denial and abuse from those dullards.
1
@KangenAlec Time to take the meds and have a nice lie down.
1
@KangenAlec "Hoax" accurately describes the flat Earth crap you believe in. How much did Skiba take from you when he sold it to you?
1
@KangenAlec Your seat on the Cardboard Shuttle has been reserved for next Friday. Bring Skiba with you.
1
@KangenAlec Which means they know nothing about the real world. Just like you.
1
@juanmontes579 Wouldn't like to have been hit by all those fission chips.
1
@Luke Skyballer Islands of Langerhans maybe.
1
@KangenAlec Oh dear, wrong again. Do try to get it right double oh seven.
1
@dirkardostevergreen4827 None, as usual. He pollutes the comments sections of lots of other vids similarly as well.
1
@NSUS1 Composite images are defo NOT CGI, which is what flattards claim. And no, they are not at all open minded. They have been trained by FE charlatans to believe all that flat Earth crap, and nothing can shift them as their beliefs are faith based, not evidence/science based. Try to convince one of them that the Sun sets from the bottom up without reducing in diameter, or that space exists, and see how you go.
1
@NSUS1 Their grasp of science is so poor that their "experiments" are laughable, and when the results don't confirm their a priori beliefs, they are disregarded or denied. Bob Knodel discovered the 15 degree/hour drift of the Earth using a very expensive ring laser gyro, all when he was trying to prove that the Earth was stationary. At the time, the best he could say (on his own FE vid) was "...very interesting." He has since claimed on another FE site that somehow the gyro did demonstrate that the Earth was not moving. Such is the intransigence of the FE belief system. There is no humility, science or curiosity at work there. And no, not everybody takes at face value the evidence demonstrating the shape and movement of our planet.
1
Read back that sentence, all before lol.
1
The irony of that doublethink is entirely lost on flattards.
1
If they did an ounce of research they would have known that they were never going to convince these brain deads of anything that didn't confirm their biases. Serve them right.
1
@KangenAlec Maybe the one that brought you here from the planet Margo.
1
Can't be both.
1
Amazingly, some of them are real.
1
@C Harmless? Ask the estranged families, coworkers and friends of these deluded specimens if they consider this pernicious belief system to be harmless. Try to engage some of them and see if you can convince them of the fallacy of their beliefs.
1
@robertfoertsch Is that all you can do - mindless repetition, hoping thereby to make a sensible argument? Try again, this time providing evidence, and without repeating anything in your previous posts. Can you manage this?
1
@robertfoertsch Don't think so.
1
@robertfoertsch Ignorance of what, your FE crap? I prefer my ignorance of what ails you.
1
@KangenAlec And what a load of crap it is.
1
@KangenAlec Correct! All else they believe is speculative and has no evidence to support any of it. Sadly for flat Earthers, their belief that the Earth is not a globe also has zip evidence to support it.
1
@KangenAlec You must be confusing that with the Nasa Bakery in downtown NY, run by Fred Nasa. Nice bloke, but keeps getting strange and abusive calls from flattards.
1
And if you look hard enough you might find that they are biblical literalists rather than adherent to any formalized religion.
1
Those flattards wouldn't appreciate you calling them that.
1
A theory in science is not just a guess. Go look it up and be educated.
1
@billyjoe8639 Why would I try? If you're not interested, I would be wasting my time. Google "what is a theory in science?" as a good starting point. If you are really curious about how science works, instead of rejecting everything that doesn't support flat Earth crap, it can be a rewarding trip. Up to you.
1
You really like facts? OK, go find that big ice wall, the dome and the nearby Moon and Sun that flattards claim to exist. And when you fail to find any of these things, ask yourself whose facts are really there to be found. Also, a theory in science is not just a guess, it's an explanation of a phenomenon, supported by experiments/observations and math, and is invariably supported also by peer review and further experimentation and/or observations. You might not like their style, but the scientists do know what they are on about, and they have the goods to back it up.
1
@KangenAlec No education required as there isn't one. All genuine investigation comes round to the inevitable conclusion that it's the delusion that needs investigating.
1
@KangenAlec You're not just mad, but certifiable.
1
Poor old Brian.
1
@theteddychannel8529 See what I mean?
1
Middle ground? Sorry, there isn't one. Flattards have nothing whatsoever by way of evidence for anything they claim.
1
@beepancakes2004 All that effort, and for what? Sad, really. We could use his skills in a far more valuable way. Just stripping away all that conspiracy baggage would be a good start.
1
@flookd5516 Oh, he'll respond to questions, but you won't be able to make any sense out of his replies.
1
It's a religion. Evidence is not necessary for them. They watch YT vids that convince them that the Earth is not a globe, and they learn lots of flattard "sciency" sounding words to throw around as if they know what the hell they're on about, which they don't. Not so difficult to understand.
1
@headlightspirits Ask flattards what it feels like - they have lots of it.
1
@KangenAlec For us it is a problem of infinite regression. For every perceived creator there is the question, "who created that creator?" We don't even have the capacity to address the question. But there are plenty who claim to have done so successfully. They are deluded.
1
To whom do you refer?
1
@dirkardostevergreen4827 You really don't want to see what passes for replies from him. Just FE word salad. I think that when his meds kick in he realizes what a twat he is when he visits these comments sections and keeps the computer switched off.
1
@dirkardostevergreen4827 He reaches into his bag of FE sayings and is obliged to post whatever comes out first.
1
Debate is impossible. Both sides need to present their evidence, then they get the chance to critique the evidence of each other. Flattards have NO evidence whatever that the Earth is flat. All they have is unfounded criticism of the globe Earth, for which overwhelming evidence exists. The alternative is what we see here - flattards vociferously pushing their case while interrupting, abusing and denying everything said by the scientists. It's not even a reasonable discussion. And if the scientists had done an ounce of research they would have known that attempting to educate flattards is a complete waste of time. Time they could have invested usefully elsewhere.
1
Helen Hunter Please go back on the meds.
1
@KangenAlec Go away, troll.
1
"haven't went"?
1
And lose. Atheist or agnostic, you can't lose because the burden of proof of a god is squarely on the shoulders of those committed to a religious faith. And, quite simply, there is none, however much you may want there to be.
1
@flookd5516 Nobody, and none.
