All US schools should have a subject called Bullshit Detection taught from Grade 1 on, at differing levels. Using elementary investigative and validation techniques from science would help, and maybe encourage a few more to consider science a bit more seriously, or at least not mistrust science per se.

The shape of the planet has been known for around 2300 years. There is NO evidence whatever for the possibility that it is any other shape. If you wish to appear impartial, or to align yourself with flat Earthers, do so by all means, but don't for a second believe that you are somehow introducing balance to an already dead debate.
