We get enough aviation disasters as it is, with well trained and intelligent pilots, flying aircraft that have taken many years to get safe. He will explain to you exactly why flights must take the Earth's curvature into account. Don't just rubbish the suggestion - go look at one. Then, if you remain convinced that you are on a flat plane Earth, then you are, sadly, ineducable, and willfully so.

  14. Question everything, by all means. But don't jump at the first "solution" provided to you by people who have no evidence to support their assertions. For instance, if a flattard tries to convince you that the sun disappears at sunset as a tiny dot without reducing in diameter without first checking this for yourself. Scientists and technicians are not part of your checking process - just go outside and watch the sun set. Then, when you have seen that it disappears from the bottom up, without reducing in diameter, you will have discovered that the flattards have been trying to deceive you. Then, if you would like to explore the phenomenon a little further, get on the Internet and look for sites that will do that for you. In ways like this you can discover some basic truths about our planet, uncontaminated by those who would mislead you.
