@DameAlys No, he's calling you to think rationally and vote accordingly.

@jackdundon2261 Dump Trump.

The voter turnout in the USA in 2016 was about 60%. In 2020 it was 66%. If Americans have a collective brain worth spit, the turnout will reach the hoped for target of 70%, or even higher, to ensure that the country doesn't have to suffer another four years of Trump. And, just maybe, those who effectively select presidential candidates in future will ensure that younger, more capable people are found. At almost any other time in history, the present Trump would have been unable to exceed the first rung on the ladder. If he is re-elected in 2024, America has surely lost its way.

Even worse, what is wrong with a party that can't accept that their candidate is waaay past credible?

@Philosophyrules77 Women who have devoted themselves to staying at home and caring for their kids face real problems when they leave an abusive marriage. Quite apart from the prospect of retributive, often fatal, violence, they often are caught in a chronic cycle of poverty, owing to being unable to escape with enough to maintain a reasonable existence for themselves and their (usually quite young) children. This is enough to make their kids unhappy, even if they do get to see their father occasionally, or even regularly. Given Vance's own background, it's astounding that he lacks the insight and information to see any of this.

America is in real trouble when its best candidates for President are these two geriatrics.
2
Why would Trump be in danger in a prison? Isn't that where his support base lives?
2
@ericjones7206 You wish.
2
@James-cu9ul Difficult not to if you strongly support Hamas and Hezbollah.

@Vote_Golda_2024-yo5bz I'm looking at 2028 as the next endpoint after this year's election. The two running mates appointed will hopefully be chosen for their leadership and other presidential skills. It would suit America not at all if they are merely party hacks selected as required backups.

@jackdundon2261 Yeah, what we really need is someone who shits himself when he gets wound up.
1
Every time Trumps speaks, he gives voters yet another great reason to avoid him.
1
Wrong, he will "debate" anybody, anywhere. But he will only use the occasion to preach his disjointed crap at and over everybody around him, giving the opposition no chance to speak. His supporters would lap it up. And maybe America's swinging voters need to see what they would be getting if they are silly enough to vote for him.
1
@zodgzod He acts bizarrely whether or not a teleprompter is near him. He has serious cognitive issues, and so do the bulk of his supporters who remain faithful after witnessing him being convicted of 34 felony counts.

@rhondah1587 Although age per se is not a disqualifier, the risks of dementia and gradual loss of comprehension skills are far less in those 20 years younger than either Trump or Biden. A president who observes his/her own declining ability to follow the discussions around the table in a security briefing, for instance, can all too easily lead to the essential abdication of effective, well reasoned decision making in favor of advisors and others around them. Or worse, falling back on emotional, rapidly made decisions not following sensibly from the discussions. Not a good look. If I was to seek high office at the moment, the best job to have would be VP. Great chance of succeeding either candidate in the next 4 years.
1
Everybody except the Republicans who put him up as their candidate.
1
@katherineweber8955 Trump is the best electoral asset that Biden has. Just keep him talking and success is assured!
1
@rachelkristine4669 And paint himself with woad.
1
@Atleework Please tell me you aren't attracted to the self-serving garbage that flows from Trump when he speaks.
1
Looks like Trump wants to see a resurgence of the nasties that national vaccination has either eliminated or greatly reduced. Like measles, polio, diphtheria, whooping cough, influenza and others. Pandering to the crazies like that will not end well for the American people, who should be leading the world in public health.
1
Good luck convincing SCOTUS that any action to hold Trump accountable is lawful.
1
@jackdundon2261 Got Rump.
1
@dollybarker2605 Sounds a lot like good old Clive P.

@BusterMcFlea A political scientist in Australia was asked how the parties compare with those in the USA. In Australia, there is a difference (in theory) between Labor and Liberal (Liberals are conservatives here). The reply was, "Well, the Republicans are like our Liberal party, and the Democrats are like, well, our Liberal Party".

It must have hurt so much when he discovered that he had been beaten by another geriatric who he considered to be his considerable inferior. The resulting cognitive conflict drove him to believing (without evidence) that the election must have been rigged. And he maintains this nonsense. Where are all the highly competent potential candidates in their forties and fifties? Why is it that the best the Republicans can find is a narcissistic, rapidly declining geriatric who is unable to live in the real world? Nobody seems able to garner sufficient support to oppose him. This critical weakness will consign the Reps to the wings for some time to come.
1
@user-wr9fn4ny4i Apathy. Staying home and assuming that sweet reason will prevail is a great way to watch powerful despots like Trump get re-elected.
1
@jackdundon2261 Dump Trump.
1
No trials needed, just look the other way while the MAGA thugs get rid of anybody Trump doesn't like, mostly by sending them to Venezuela, even if that isn't their country of origin.
1
@irinawallace6050 Yes, where Putin has the democratic right to eliminate any substantial opposition to his policies, or to his constant "re-election" as dictator, er, president.
1
Surprised? Shouldn't be, with Trump committing political suicide every time he says or does anything. Granny next door could beat him in the election.
