9:00 There is a fourth common candle material, at least here in Sweden. It's called stearin, and it's the most common material used for candles here, paraffin being relegated to tea lights and scented candles. It is a mixture of stearic acid (where the substance gets its name from) and palmitic acid. Both occur naturally in food. Together they make up 82% of saturated fatty acids consumed in the US. (According to everyone's favorite online encyclopedia at least.)

While these "fake" honeys do exist in our stores in Sweden the majority is real stuff. It's usually crystalized, some crystalized to the point that you carve it out of the jar more than spoon it out. I also buy locally made when I can, as it's usually tastier.

I always find it funny how uninformed people are about the drugs they consume. Nicotine is one of the most addictive drug commonly consumed, only surpassed by a few, like heroin. Nicotine is more addictive than cocaine. On that note, the drug that consistently ranks the highest in the harm it causes to both the users and others around them is alcohol. What's the commonly used drugs with the lowest rates of addiction as well as harm to both the user and others around them? LSD and magic mushroom. Let's face it, what is and isn't legal has absolutely nothing to do with addiction or harm, it has to do with profit and taxes(aka, profit for the government). Alcohol and tobacco are cheap to produce at mass scale and store well for long distance distribution.

I enjoy scented candles, but I tend to stick to real scents like vanilla, green apple, rose, and so on, rather than cozy cuddle, or flannel.

I've actually never had an issue with paper straws. Sure, if I leave them soaking for half an hour or more they start getting soggy, but I've never had an issue with it not lasting as long as my drink. Maybe paper straws are made better here in Sweden. Plastic is still king, of course. I do hate wood eating utensils with a passion however. They feel terrible in the mouth and add an unwanted wood flavor.

Manscaped are marketing geniuses. I've never seen one of their regular ads (Ad-block 4 the win) but I have seen them as a sponsor for a bunch of youtubers I follow, and they choose who they sponsor well as they are always youtubers who have a good sense of humor. Those of then who use the products themselves and recommend them have also often been those youtubers I trust to some degree to not shill shit products for a quick buck.
