@jaysdood To be fair, the more interviews she did the worse she looked. The better choice would have been to replace Biden later, bring in Kamala, and do the media blitz then. They might have won in that case. Kamala is a terrible person and a terrible candidate. The more people see of her the worse she does. Then there's her refusal to ever actually answer questions about policy. "You know, I grew up in a middle class neighborhood . . ." For fucks sake. I'm halfway across the world and even I could see that Trump had at least an 80% chance to win asuming that there was no fortification again. Now, there were clear attempts of fortification, but in difference to last time this looked more like a grassroots rogue initiative rather than an official attempt. The actual dems were not stupid enough to try and pull anything with how this time would be watched like a hawk after last time.
