  1. As someone who has an almost 30 year old Nissan Sunny I can say that they know how to build harware. Sure, rust is a problem in my country for Japanese cars, they typically have little or no consideration for road salt in the winter, especially older Japanese cars, but it runs great and is very nice to drive. The engine compartment is a bit of a bitch though, since everything is so tightly spaced. Makes it hard to get at things unless you have small hands and thin arms.
