All I knew about Carl years ago was his Ancient Recitation channel where he reads ancient texts like the Enuma Elish, the Exaltation of Inanna, the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Book of Five Rings, the Hymn to Ninkasi, the Treaty of Kadesh, various classical Greek texts, and more. I only found out about his Sargon of Akkad pseudonym by a random youtube recommendation and thinking his voice was extremely familiar. I didn't find out what his actual name was until years after that.
