  2. Lower leg prosthetics that read the muscle impulses and act accordingly have existed for years. Not sure if they're publicly available though, you know how the pipleine from invention to medically available is like. They likely aren't covered under insurance either.

  3. Hydraulics? That's terrible. There's a lot of good reasons why everyone making robots are either abandoning hydraulics or not starting with them at all. Terrible reliability, the difficulty of maintenance, and high long term costs are only a few of the reasons.
