Oddly enough I also enjoyed baking chocolate as a kid. Like you I haven't had it in a long time though.

I don't like how hard and slow melting Fazer is, but otherwise I like it. Especially the peppermint one. But my one true love will always be Marabou. So melty, so creamy, so milky. Mmmm . . . Marabou. ❤ Edit: Like the first reply said, the Marianne Fazer chocolate bar, as well as Marianne itself is great too. French chocolate, especially chocolate cake, is also delicious, but a bit too rich to eat much of. Germany makes pretty good chocolate too. Belgian chocolate is very overrated.

I've tried imported Hershey's bars, or rather bar since I never bought it again. I wouldn't say it tastes like vomit, it just tastes like a bottom-shelf, budget store brand chocolate here in Sweden. Like super cheap chocolate that you only buy when you are poor. Of course, since it was imported across the Atlantic is was actually really expensive.
