I can't be the only one who rewound the part where the knight dances on the shredded remains of the rules of war a few times. The image is just too amusing.

Personally, I don't particularly care if the tooth came from a dead soldier or grave robbing, I'm not putting a dead man's teeth in my mouth. Gimme the carved horse teeth or ivory.

First time watching your videos. First, great videos, very educational and entertaining. Second, I love the hidden pokémon everywhere.

Poor Sun Yat-sen.

If I was Polish (and had lived at that point in history) I'd have been sooo pissed at France and Britain. On a side note, if you want something done you should get some Poles, a few Ghurkas, maybe some Sikhs, and a few Spartans just for good measure.

Why would you skip the use of cocaine as an anesthetic? Synthetic cocaine is still used today, which is still cocaine just not extracted from the plant.

As I recall, mercury did work to treat syphilis in something like 30% of cases. With how horrible the disease is, I'm not sure I wouldn't take the chance.

Real life Anhk-Morpork Thieves Guild, huh? Better than most legal systems.

What is most often forgotten about Franz Ferdinand is that he was the closest thing the Serbs had to a friend at court. He was the one Austrian noble that should have been lowest on their list of assassination targets, but he was convenient because he was there, right in their backyard.

@omnicognatee I'd say bacteria, archaea, and eukaryota. Virii and even girii are not considered alive and have no metabolic processes on their own. They literally don't do anything. Think of them as clockwork torpedoes drifting through space, until they bump into something the mechanism at the nose can lock into, which triggers the mainspring to start unwinding so the torpedo can do its thing. You can, if you wish, think of the infected cell as the "adult" form of viruses and giruses (giant virus, more like a clockwork factory than a torpedo, some almost half the size of the smallest single celled organisms, there are even viruses that only infect cells infected by giruses and hijack the girus factories inside to produce said virus instead of more giruses) and the virus and girus as sperm of sorts.

I don't know how old Sun was at this point, I can't be bothered to look it up, but I would have thrown in the towel at this point.
