@Sam_Bent I was once going to go into (physical) security. One core thing they taught us was that you can make a place completely secure, but at the cost of sacrificing all convenience and thereby speed and efficiency. Security is always a zero sum game between convenience and security. The end goal should be enough security for what you are protecting but not so much that you strangle the use of it. I imagine that it's much the same in software security.
