  1. Growing up, my Mom would make her Cranberry jelly/sauce from scratch. Starting with fresh whole Cranberries and cooking them down and then mushing them into sauce. I never had canned cranberry sauce until I went over to a friend's house. One year, my Mom forgot the sugar. You only forget that once. It was definitely memorable. She also made her stuffing from scratch, her pies, her whipped cream, etc. My Mom had since passed but I will always remember her Thanksgiving dinners from scratch.😂
